STAD Solution is excited to announce the National Level Online Competition ‘BUGmania’ for IT aspirants. BUGmania is an online software testing competition aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of Software Testing in the IT industry, inspiring interdisciplinary teams of UC undergraduate and graduate students who want to make a career in non-programming fields, and exposure for graduates and IT professionals. Since its founding, STAD Solution’s BugMania contest has inspired innovative and critical-thinking students to identify the bugs in real-time applications that cause pressing problems.
It is a platform for all IT students and professionals to expose their talent and win exciting Cash prizes, Certifications, and many more.
About the ‘BUGmania’ Season – 3
BUGmania is one of the biggest National level Online Software Testing competitions for IT Freshers and Working Professionals.
It is a National Level Online Competition in which all Students and IT Professionals from different institutions and companies can individually participate. We received an overwhelming response in our 1st BUGmania competition which we organized in May 2020 and we completed the Second Edition of BUGmania with huge success in Dec 2020. Now we come up with the BUGmania Season 3 with more surprises and Cash prizes.
In this event, participants have to analyze or examine the entire Application from all perspectives and evaluate all the faults present in the Application. Participants have to think out of the box to find more unique Bugs. After evaluation, they have to unify all the faults in the form of a Bug Report and send it to us. Our panel of Software Testing experts will review all the bugs.

Step 1 – Register for the Competition
Step 2 – Within 48 Hours of Registration, Further Instructions, and a Website for Testing will be given through mail.
Step 3 – Submit your Bug Report before 10th March 2023
Important Dates :
Registration Start Date : 20th Feb, 2023
Registration Closing Date : 10th March, 2023
Result Announcement Date : 15th March, 2023
On the basis of the below-mentioned criteria, the winner will be finalized.
Criteria of Selection :
- Bugs related to functionality will only be considered.
- Valid Bug will be counted. Suggestions are not recommended
- Given Format of the Bug Report should be followed.
- The bug description should be detailed enough to understand.
- A relevant Screenshot of the Bug is compulsory to attach to the bug report.
- Bug Reported submitted before the closing date will only be considered.

Step to follow to take part in the Competition.
- Analyze the website and find all the possible functional bugs and defects.
- Mention all the bugs in the bug report with appropriate screenshots.
- The zip complete folder contains a bug report and screenshot.
- Submit Bug Report before 10th March 2023
- The result will be announced on 15th March 2023.
Instructions and Rules of the competition
- Perform only Manual Testing (Bug through Automation will not be considered)
- Bug Report should be in a precise Excel sheet format only. (Format given below)
- Submit/ Upload your file (Bug Report) in Zip format only.
- Upload – The maximum file size of the Bug report is 100 MB or less.
- Entries before 10th March 2023 at 12 O’clock midnight only consider.
- There are no age restrictions (fresher or experienced can take part in this)
- Duplicate Bugs will not be considered
- A jury decision will be the final decision.
